A public website, built together.

Embedded with Bedrock’s team to help build its public website, connecting content managed in Contentful to React components that brought the pages to life.

How I compared the CMS options

I compared React + Contentful, Webflow, Wix, and Squarespace against the requirements of a page from Bedrock’s website, including generating components from CMS content.

I recommended Webflow. At the time, I found its platform support and developer experience strongest, and its newer AI tools helped me build the components our design needed.

Financing flows, animation & email.

Built parts of the vehicle-financing flow, implemented an animator’s designs with Lottie, and created MJML email templates within a multi-team effort.

Building the Edgeguard for keyboard play on game consoles, from KiCad circuit boards and C firmware to React and WebUSB configuration tools. Started alongside Detroit Labs; now independent work.

Built websites, dashboards, and customer flows with client teams. Frequently provided technical time estimates for prospective-client work and was trusted to mentor newer developers through pair programming. Shared detailed PR walkthroughs and testing instructions, and helped manage Jenkins and CI/CD jobs.

Software Engineer

Worked on Copy.com and CudaDrive file sharing, then Barracuda Cloud Control’s HUI dashboard. Used Backbone.js on CudaDrive and React with ES6 on Cloud Control.

Helped replace a fixed-width PHP site with a responsive Arena CMS redesign for phones, tablets, and desktops. Built C# / .NET modules and the Foundation frontend.
